Over the past few months, liberals have called Donald Trump’s approach to Islam absurd. They seem to be forgetting that Islam has already been banned in the United States before, back in 1952.
In the summer of 1952, the Immigration and Nationality Act was passed in order to revise immigration laws and nationality laws for our country. The measure, which is still in place today, laws out provision of the law for immigration of aliens into the country.
A major issue covered by the act was the prohibition of entry into the country if an immigrant is part of an organization that is attempting to overthrow the United States government through the use of force, violence or other unconstitutional means.
It goes to follow that this should rule out Islamic extremist immigration into our nation.
That’s something the White House seems intent on ignoring.
What do you think about this?
