Michelle Obama delivered what democrats have deemed a “very powerful” speech at the Democratic National Convention last week. During her address, she took various stabs at presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The First lady once again proved just how divisive the Democratic party can be, by bringing race into the discussion.
“I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves,” Michelle commented. “And I watch my daughters, two beautiful, intelligent black young women playing with their dogs on the White House lawn.”

She then criticized Donald Trump for telling voters that America is not already great.
That’s ironic, given that just 8 years ago she claimed that she was not proud of America until her husband ran for president. Apparently, the only reason she thinks America is great is because her family is in the White House.
