When one thug came across a group of bikini-clad women sunbathing in the park, he made the unfortunate assumption that they were an easy target. As he attempted to rob the women, he had no idea that one of them was actually a police officer. What happened next is incredible.
Mikaela Kellner, a veteran of Swedish Ninja Warrior and a police officer for more than a decade, was reportedly sunbathing with a group of friends in Stockholm park when a man approached them pretending to be selling magazines.
Shortly after the man left, one of Kellner’s friends noticed her cell phone was missing. That’s when Kellner sprung into action, running after the man and quickly taking him down. He was arrested on the spot.
“I just acted on instinct and didn’t think about it so much until after we had pinned him down,” Kellner told local reporters. “When I sat there I looked over at our other two friends who are not police officers and realized that it probably looked funny.”
A photograph of the woman in her bathing suit, kicking some serious butt has since gone viral.
“I would have stepped in no matter what my outfit,” she commented. “Had I been naked I would have also intervened. Nothing will stop me.”
Kellner also maintained that the pickpocket did not put up much of a fight.
“He realized quite quickly that it wasn’t worth struggling,” she laughed.
